- The front cover is a beige color that begins with a photo of a chef holding a can of Schlitz Malt Syrup in his right hand. Below the photo, the title "Schlitz malt Syrup in the Home" is written in a black text framed with black curlicues ending in leaves. The back cover has a beige background also but consist of a blue frame filled in with a bright yellow that takes up about 3/4 of the back cover. Inside the blue frame, there is a blue banner that states "Mamma! You'll like the Schlitz flavor." Below the banner, there is a Bavarian man holding a can of Schlitz malt Syrup to a Bavarian women. The man also has a Dachshund located behind his legs. The inside pages start off with a guarantee letter from Jos. Schlitz Beverage Co. and then in the following pages it continues by explaining the history behind malt syrup and the process the syrup goes through during production. The rest of the book entails various recipes including cookies, cakes, icing, breads, pies, taffy, puddings, and many others.
