The front cover features modern gold, white and blue frames around the title "Cake and Bread Magic" written in gold lettering. Underneath the title, the authors are listed followed by the company name which is stated at the bottom. The back cover is filled with three phrases including Ward's fine cakes, The marks of quality and Ward's tip-top bread." The inside pages begin with an introduction describing the booklet and the Ward Baking Co. The following inside pages are filled with various recipes and illustrations. Some recipes include Silver Queen Cream Nut Cake, Southern Pride Plum Pudding, Kukuno and Orange Trifle, Creamy Spice Pudding, Fairy Sponge Strawberry Shortcake, Tip-Top Bread Crumbs, Mother Hubbard Cinnamon Stick and Ward's Cinnamon Toast. On page thirty three, there are five black and white illustrations of various factories that make the Ward Baking Company's bread. The last inside page entails the "Leading varieties of Ward's Breads and Cakes, Rolls and Cakes."
