Description

The front cover features a drawn color illustration of a woman taking her hot Mother's oats out of a fireless cooker. She is wearing a green skirt with a white apron over it. The title, "The Mother's Oats Fireless Cooker Recipe Book," is located above and below the illustration written in red lettering. There is no back cover. The inside pages begin with "A few facts about fireless cooking" and continue with the headings including descriptions, what the cooker will do, and how to get a Mother's Oats Fireless Cooker free. The rest of the inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that fall under the categories of oat products, corn products, and wheat cereals. Each of the three sections entail descriptions, directions, and different recipes that can be made from the Fireless Cooker. Some of the recipes include mother's oatmeal cookies, corn meal gruel, corn pone, beans, steamed fish, and soup stock.
