Description

The front cover features a drawn black and white illustration of a child wearing a chef's hat and apron as she holds a mixing spoon and sauce pan. At the top, the title "Ransom's Family Receipt Book" is written in black lettering. At the bottom, the publisher information is listed. The back cover begins in the top left corner with a sketch of a child being given a spoonful of syrup and continues with a promotion for Ransom's Hive Syrup and Trask's Ointment.
