Description

The front cover features a drawn colored illustration of an orange frame around four dishes of health foods plus a glass of milk. Around this illustration there are portraits of a grandfather, grandmother, three children, mother and father. At the top, the title "Battle Creek Sanitarium Health Foods" is written in black lettering. The back cover is split into two sections. The section on the left is titled "Good Cheer" and continues with a promotion. The section on the right contains an illustration of a house followed by the title. The inside pages are dedicated to various recipes that utilize products such as Savita, Protose, Meltose Honey, Health Koko, and Health Chocolates in them. All pages start off at the top with a few products and their descriptions followed by two or three recipes. At the bottom, there are drawn colored illustration of different prepared foods. Each recipe entails the ingredients needed plus directions on how to prepare the dish. The back end page contains a list of booklets available for purchase including Healthful Living, Colitis, and What to Eat in Diabetes.
