The front panel begins at the top with the title "Protose, the tasty vegetable meat that looks, tastes, and smells like meat" written in blue and orange lettering on a light orange background framed by two dark orange lines. Below, there is an illustration of a platter of Protose meat loaf next to a can of Protose and salt and pepper shakers. The back panel contains a promotion for the Healthful Living booklet written in blue and orange lettering.
