"Swee-Touch-Nea-Tea" tins for holding loose tea.

From the home of Belle Matlovsky Margolis (1896-1974) and Moses Margolis, Binghamton, NY. Belle and Moses immigrated to the U.S. from Poland in 1923.

Medium-sized tin (3" tall) has product name in Russian.

Israeli flag (with Star of David) on pole. On the other side of the cup: "Commemorating the Creation of the State of Israel May 15, 1948".

White opalescent cup with gold handle and rim. 2 1/2 inches tall.

On bottom: "MCC MD. China Co. Warranted 22K Gold Balto. [Baltimore] MD."

Cup used on Sabbath and other Jewish holidays when reciting the blessing over wine (kiddush).

Silver, height 6". Engraved on other side of cup: "Presented to Rev. Morris Margolis in honor of his 2nd anniversary by UHBC 3-3-35" "Rev. Morris Margolis" refers to Moses Margolis, rabbi. "UHBC" is United Hebrew Brothers Congregation, Binghamton, NY. 1935.

Knife used for kosher slaughter of chickens.

Used by Moses Margolis (1896-1986) of Binghamton, NY. Margolis was rabbi, shochet (ritual slaughterer), and mohel (ritual circumciser). He immigrated to the U.S. from Poland in 1923.

Knife is in homemade wooden box, pencil sketches and crude carving can be seen. Area on knife handle reads: "J & D Miller N.Y. Guaranteed" and on the reverse: "Millers" in Yiddish. Silver knife with white handle is 7 3/4 inches long.
